Job Description

  • Develop and implement modern trade sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with key accounts such as City Mart, Ocean, Capital Hypermarket, Marketplace, Grab & Go, and other modern trade partners.
  • Negotiate trading terms, including pricing, promotions, payment terms, and visibility agreements.
  • Plan and execute in-store promotions and brand visibility activities.
  • Monitor sales performance, shelf share, and merchandising standards in modern trade outlets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and promotional execution.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitors to identify new opportunities.
  • Train and supervise a team of sales representatives or merchandisers working in the modern trade segment.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in FMCG or retail sales, preferably with a focus on modern trade.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Knowledge of the Myanmar retail market and distribution landscape.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English and Burmese (both spoken and written).
