The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and managing the full operations of the Taunggyi Branch, including retail store management, wholesale distribution, sales performance, inventory control, logistics, customer service, and team leadership. The role ensures operational excellence, business growth, profitability, and strong market presence in the Taunggyi region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Branch Operations Management

Oversee day-to-day branch operations across retail and wholesale channels

Ensure smooth workflow in sales, warehouse, logistics, and cashiering

Implement company SOPs, policies, safety standards, and audit compliance
-
Monitor operational costs and optimize resource utilization

Coordinate with Head Office for reporting, approvals, and strategic execution
2. Retail & Wholesale Sales Management
-
Drive sales growth, profitability, and market share in the region

Develop and execute sales plans, pricing strategies, and promotions
-
Manage key B2B customer accounts and distributor relationships
-
Expand dealer networks and wholesale channels in Shan State
-
Track sales performance vs. targets (daily/weekly/monthly)
3. Customer Service & Market Development
-
Ensure high-quality customer experience for retail and wholesale clients
-
Handle escalated complaints and resolve service issues effectively
-
Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, traders, and partners
-
Conduct market surveys, competitor analysis, and demand forecasting
4. Inventory, Warehouse & Supply Chain Control

Monitor stock levels, ordering, replenishment, and stock rotation
-
Prevent overstock, stock-out, shrinkage, and damage
-
Oversee warehouse operations, receiving, dispatching, and logistics routing
-
Coordinate with procurement & central warehouse for supply planning
5. Finance & Administration

Monitor branch P&L, revenue, margins, expenses, and cash handling

Ensure accuracy of billing, invoicing, credit sales, and collections
-
Review daily sales reports, stock reports, and expense reports
-
Support internal and external audits
6. People Leadership & Performance Management

Lead and supervise sales, store, warehouse, and support teams
-
Recruit, train, motivate, and discipline staff when necessary
-
Set KPIs and conduct performance evaluations

Build a strong customer-focused and result-oriented team culture
