Job Description

An Excellent Opportunity for ...

Developing design briefs with clients and overseeing the projects from inception to completion.
Presenting design concepts, project deliverables, and samples to management teams.
Supervising internal design staff and providing constructive feedback.
Ensuring all designs meet quality standards and are delivered within budget and time constraints.
Coordinating with other departments to develop detailed design which are practical for local construction.
Reviewing architectural drawings alongside structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings to ensure compliance with client briefs and local regulations.
Engaging with consultants, suppliers and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
Recommending material samples, reviewing material specifications and getting approval from management team.
Lead design team to assist various project implementation aspects such site inspections, quality control, design coordination, and report preparation.
Coordinating with sales and marketing teams for brochures and design input.
Monitor contractors’ performance, review shop drawings and installation method according to design specifications and standards.
Maintain project schedules by tracking progress and resolving site problems.
Review submission drawings for construction permit, and report management for any critical design impact affected by local code compliance.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of architectural work.
Utilize computer-assisted design software for construction document preparation.

Job Requirements

Bachelor of architecture. Higher qualifications or certifications in project management can prove advantageous.
Min. 5+ years’ relevant experience in architectural design & construction. Min. 3+ years in design management/leadership role within the industry is required. (Management experience can’t be combined with design experience)
Understanding of design principles and engineering and its implication towards construction methods.
Excellent communication skills to interact multiple international stakeholders
Proficiency in design softwares such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite.
Highrise Residential project design/construction experience will be advantageous.
Oversea experience in Singapore or Hong Kong with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful completed projects are recommended.
Proficiency in English Skills (Written/Verbal); Chinese (Preferred)
