Job Purpose

The Discipline Master is responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful, and orderly school environment by promoting positive student behavior, enforcing school rules, and supporting the overall well-being of students.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage student behavior across the campus (classrooms, corridors, playground, etc.)
  • Enforce school rules, policies, and code of conduct consistently and fairly
  • Handle disciplinary cases and maintain proper records of incidents
  • Counsel students on behavior, attitude, and personal development
  • Work closely with teachers, coordinators, and school leadership on student discipline matters
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding behavioral concerns when necessary
  • Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, and school events
  • Implement behavior management strategies and support positive discipline practices
  • Identify and address bullying, misconduct, or safety concerns promptly
  • Assist in developing and reviewing school discipline policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Education or related field preferred)
  • Previous experience in school discipline/student management is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Firm, fair, and consistent approach to discipline
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
