  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure high-quality food production.
  • Develop and execute creative and seasonally inspired menus that align with the restaurant's concept, maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet established standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain inventory levels, control costs, and manage food wastage by implementing efficient kitchen processes and portion control measures.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management to establish and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring the availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, adhering to local regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment, perform regular maintenance checks, and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations of kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume, fine-diningaurant or similar culinary setting.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution.
  • Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
