1. Overseas Supplier Sourcing & Development

• Identify and source new international suppliers (China, Thailand, Vietnam, India, etc.)
• Conduct supplier evaluation (pricing, quality, certifications, capacity)
• Build and maintain a reliable supplier database
• Develop direct sourcing channels (factory-level engagement, not traders where possible)

2. Procurement & Negotiation

• Request quotations (RFQ), analyze pricing, and negotiate commercial terms
• Achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards
• Negotiate Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW) and payment term

3. Product & Technical Coordination

• Work closely with internal technical/engineering teams for specifications
• Coordinate product samples, testing, and approvals
• Ensure compliance with required standards and certifications

4. Order Management

• Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up on order confirmation
• Monitor production progress and delivery timelines
• Ensure on-time shipment and minimize delays

5. Logistics & Import Coordination

• Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners
• Handle shipping documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL, CO, etc.)
• Support customs clearance process and ensure regulatory compliance in Myanmar

6. Supplier Relationship Management

• Maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers
• Conduct periodic performance reviews (cost, quality, delivery)
• Resolve disputes or quality issues with suppliers

7. Market Research & Cost Analysis

• Monitor international market trends, pricing, and supply risks
• Identify alternative suppliers and sourcing strategies
• Provide cost comparison and sourcing reports to management

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Engineering, or related field
• 2–5 years’ experience in sourcing/procurement/import (preferably overseas sourcing)
• Experience in manufacturing, machinery, or FMCG sourcing is highly preferred
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms)
• Understanding of import/export procedures and documentation
• Supplier evaluation and cost analysis skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple suppliers
