About Us: The Rangoon Hotel is a boutique hospitality brand dedicated to delivering genuine service and thoughtfully curated guest experiences. Our top facilities also include a Rooftop bar with a panoramic skyline of Yangon and Yangon’s River, also paired with a lobby lounge and guest bar that exudes luxury. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and outgoing Front Office Associate to support our Front Office Department in maintaining excellent service standards

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures using the hotel’s PMS system.
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints and escalate when necessary.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and daily reports.
  • Manage cash and card transactions with accuracy and accountability.
  • Support concierge services and assist with local information.
  • Ensure a tidy and presentable front desk and lobby area.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service or hotel front desk is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using hotel PMS (Property Management Systems) or willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Calm, courteous, and professional demeanor under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
