Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

Review and analyze daily production and packing performance reports, including fulfillment, yield, waste, and production downtime, and implement corrective actions where necessary. Prepare and submit consolidated summary reports to the Director (Factory).
Ensure full compliance and implementation of ISO, GHP, and HACCP systems across all production operations. Lead and organize training programs to ensure proper understanding and adherence.
Coordinate with Production and Packing departments to address operational requirements, provide guidance, and ensure effective communication and follow-up actions.
Align production operations with the sales schedule by evaluating machine capacity and raw material availability. Collaborate with Sales, Planning, QA, Engineering, Store, HR Operations, and HR Planning to ensure smooth execution. Adjust plans with approval from the Director (Factory) when necessary.
Provide training and conduct performance evaluations for Production and Packing staff.
Monitor and control departmental budgets to ensure efficient utilization within approved limits.
Oversee and ensure effective utilization of the SAP system in daily operations.
Conduct bi-annual performance appraisals for all subordinates.
Identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate training programs to enhance employee capabilities.
Drive improvements to achieve targeted yield, waste reduction, and production efficiency.
Supervise and manage Waste Water and Water Treatment Systems in compliance with environmental standards.
Ensure workplace health and safety compliance, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
Coordinate effectively with cross-functional departments to support overall production objectives.
Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of 6S practices within the assigned work area.
Conduct annual Hazard Analysis in collaboration with the QA team.
Lead risk management initiatives and ensure proper implementation of risk mitigation actions.
Develop, review, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational procedures.
Actively participate as a member of the Food Safety Team and GHP Team.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (AGTI / B. Tech / B.E or equivalent).
Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in production or manufacturing.
Experience in the FMCG industry is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Food Safety, Occupational Safety, and Environmental standards.
