Job Summary
The General Manager for Sales & Marketing holds the overall responsibility for leading the department, setting its strategic direction, and ensuring the achievement of aggressive revenue and growth targets. This role is pivotal in shaping the market positioning and long-term success of the company.

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute the overall sales and marketing strategy and vision for the company.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and set ambitious goals for the department.
• Analyze market dynamics, expansion opportunities, and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Lead the annual planning and budgeting process for the sales and marketing division.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

• Hold ultimate accountability for achieving national sales targets and market share goals.
• Drive key business development initiatives, including new market entry and major partnership deals.
• Build and nurture relationships with key accounts, strategic partners, and high-value clients.
• Review and analyze sales performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed.

Marketing & Brand Development:

• Steer the overall brand strategy, positioning, and messaging to ensure a strong and consistent market presence.
• Oversee all marketing activities, including brand management, product marketing, PR, and digital marketing.
• Ensure effective allocation of the marketing budget for maximum return on investment (ROI).
• Champion a culture of innovation in marketing approaches and customer engagement.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and direction to the entire sales and marketing team.
• Build a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations and fostering professional development.
• Manage the organizational structure, including recruitment, training, and performance appraisal of department heads.

Operational & Financial Management:

• Present sales and marketing reports, financial forecasts, and strategic updates to the CEO and Board.
• Ensure the department's activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Make critical decisions on resource allocation, investment, and strategic partnerships.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of [10+] years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, with at least [5-7] years in a senior leadership role (e.g., GM, Director, Head of Department).
