Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Implement and monitor the project HSE Management Plan, all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) activities at the construction site to ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and international safety standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, prevent accidents, and promote a strong safety culture throughout the project.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, supervise high-risk activities (including work at height, hot work, lifting operations, confined space entry, and electrical work), and ensure the proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
  • Provide safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training to employees and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, contractors, and government inspectors regarding safety matters.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; maintain HSE documentation; support emergency preparedness and HSE audits.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders on HSE matters, monitor environmental compliance, prepare HSE reports, and stop unsafe work when necessary.
  • Maintain safety records, documents, and reports.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Bachelor’s Degree with certification in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in safety management.
  • Knowledge in Risk Assessment, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), scaffolding inspection, excavation & trench safety, PPE compliance, and heavy equipment safety.
  • Good understanding of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and workplace safety laws.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
  • English: Conversational level.
