ROLE PURPOSE

 

The role holder is responsible for the smooth execution of routine Western Union (Inbound & Outbound) (Non-Trade) transactions for bank customers on a day-to-day operation and for ensuring high levels of customer services.

 

DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Supervise and checking of all transactions for KYC and AML.
  • Connect and construct good relationship with WU agent and WU team (HO).
  • Reconcile with Inbound and outbound transactions and Nostro account.
  • Handle the email and phone from customers and branches.
  • Check and sign the accounting vouchers for payment (Inbound and Outbound) transactions.
  • Check and approve the payments of inbound and outbound.
  • Check and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly report for remittance by manually and systematically.
  • Verify and check the requirement documents to make inbound and outbound transactions.
  • Passing (Authorize) inbound and outbound transactions
  • Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to deliver results while meeting deadlines.
  • Resolve the customer’s complaints.
  • Monitor, supervise and prepare WU transactions of report to management as required.
  • Check and prepare of daily, weekly, and monthly payments to CBM report.
  • Serve as a mentor to guide and assist junior members in performing their tasks to ensure consistent understanding and ability to perform tasks.
  • Performing additional assignments as requested

Job Requirements

  • Completion of tertiary qualifications in a business or related field such as Bachelor of Business, Management, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or industry specific qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of Western Union Manager experience
  • Possesses wide-ranging industry experience, uses professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and integrity.
  • A high energy, self-motivated individual, who can collaborate with cross-functional teams with minimal supervision to deliver results.
  • Excellent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in spoken English and good English writing skills required
