Position Summary
Super Seven Stars Industrial Development Co., Ltd. is seeking two experienced Manufacturing Directors to provide strategic leadership and operational excellence across the Company's manufacturing businesses.
The Manufacturing Director will be responsible for managing overall manufacturing performance, improving production capabilities, optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring product quality, controlling costs, and implementing world-class manufacturing practices. This role requires a strong manufacturing leader who can drive transformation, build high-performing teams, and support the Company's long-term industrial growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manufacturing Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with company objectives and business growth plans.
Lead overall manufacturing operations across multiple factories and production facilities.
Establish operational excellence frameworks to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
Develop long-term manufacturing improvement plans including capacity expansion, technology upgrades, and process optimization.
Provide strategic recommendations to Senior Management regarding manufacturing investments and operational improvements.
2. Production & Operational Management
Oversee daily manufacturing operations including production planning, process control, maintenance, engineering, quality, and warehouse functions.
Ensure production targets, delivery schedules, and operational KPIs are achieved.
Optimize production processes to improve output, reduce waste, and maximize resource utilization.
Implement best practices in production management, workflow improvement, and cost reduction.
Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and production resources.
3. Continuous Improvement & Manufacturing Excellence
Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities for productivity improvement and operational cost reduction.
Drive automation, digitalization, and technology adoption within manufacturing operations.
Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), production systems, and performance monitoring processes.
Promote a culture of innovation, efficiency, and operational discipline.
4. Quality, Safety & Compliance Management
Ensure manufacturing operations meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Work closely with QA/QC teams to improve product quality and reduce defects.
Establish quality improvement programs and corrective action processes.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, environmental regulations, occupational health and safety requirements.
Promote a strong safety culture across all manufacturing facilities.
5. Financial & Cost Management
Develop and manage annual manufacturing budgets and operational expenses.
Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and productivity.
Monitor manufacturing costs, production efficiency, and profitability.
Analyze manufacturing performance reports and recommend improvement actions.
Support investment decisions through technical and financial evaluations.
6. Supply Chain & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Business Development teams.
Ensure efficient production planning based on market demand and business requirements.
Optimize inventory levels, material utilization, and production scheduling.
Support new product development and production expansion projects.
7. People Leadership & Organization Development
Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing leadership teams.
Build a strong organization structure with clear roles and responsibilities.
Develop succession plans and leadership capabilities within manufacturing teams.
Establish performance management systems and departmental KPIs.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
