SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, construction, and budget of construction projects. They will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing project timelines, and communicating project status to all stakeholders.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities are,
o Develop a comprehensive project plan that outlines timelines, budgets, and resources needed to complete the project.
o Develop and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring that the project remains within budget.
o Assign tasks and resources to team members, contractors, and vendors.
o Develop and manage project schedules, including identifying critical path tasks and ensuring that the project stays on schedule.
o Identify potential risks to the project and develop strategies to mitigate them.
o Apply appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
o Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, vendors, and team members, to ensure that everyone is aware of project status, progress, and any issues that may arise.
o Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
o Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor's degree in engineering BE /diploma in civil engineering or a related field is typically required
More prefer certificate related with project management
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Minimum 18 years of experience in construction management (Road/bridge/highway/infra structure work) with a proven track record of successful project completion
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Strong knowledge of construction project management processes, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality control.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and building codes.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage project teams and stakeholders.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, Word and Power Point.
Good English skills
