ROLE PURPOSE 

We are seeking skilled and experienced Relationship Managers to join our Premier Banking team. As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and cultivating a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing them with personalized financial solutions and building strong, long-term relationships. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and compliance with regulations. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Building and maintaining relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth clients is a critical part of the job.

  • Relationship Managers need to understand their clients' financial needs and goals to provide them with personalized banking solutions.  

  • Customer Service: To have the service mindset is crucial to this role. Relationship managers must practice “Yoma 5 Star Service Standard” all the time dealing with the clients to uplift the customer experience to superior level.   

  • Cross Sales and Up Sales: To support the main bank strategy, Relationship Managers are responsible for generating revenue by cross selling a range of financial products and services, such as mortgages, loans, credit cards, and insurance. They may also identify new business opportunities and work with other teams. 

  • Financial planning: Work with clients to develop comprehensive financial plans that align with their long-term goals. This may involve analyzing their current financial situation, identifying areas for improvement, and developing a plan to achieve their objectives. 

  • Risk management: Relationship Managers need to assess and manage risk in their client portfolios. They must understand the risk profile of each client and ensure that their investments and other financial products are aligned with their risk tolerance. 

  • Compliance and regulatory requirements: Relationship Managers must adhere to strict compliance and regulatory requirements to ensure that all their actions are ethical, legal, and in compliance with banking regulations. 

  • Teamwork: Relationship Managers need to have good interdepartmental relationships with other teams within the bank to provide the best possible service to clients.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field. 

  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience or RM experience in banking, financial institutions, or service industries. 

  • Ability to work on assigned duty roster.  

  • A customer-centric approach with a focus on providing exceptional service to clients. 

  • Good knowledge of local regulatory environment & various banking products. 

  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to ethical and professional behavior. 

  • Entrepreneurship, results orientation, client impact, team worker, broad orientation, and social engagement. 

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) practices 

  • Able to adapt to a fast-changing environment. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound financial recommendations. 

  • Excellent communication skills (written, spoken, email, PowerPoint). 

  • Efficient execution of assignments within a short time frame. 

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken). 

  • Presentable and smart to project professionalism, competence, and trustworthiness.
