Job Purpose

To manage activities of distributors, in order to support the achievement of overall sales target.Perform complex activities in designing, developing and periodically revising distributor sales force strategy and execution plan, to provide guidelines on key events and activities implementation, in order to optimize trade marketing operation, as well as to ensure alignment with AML overall corporate and marketing strategies. Manage distribution channels and build close relationships between TM and channel members, as well as improve capabilities of channel members to be able to deliver integrated sales and services, and effectively attract consumers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for distribution KPI’s in his/ her territory and expansion of distribution depth and width in the territory.
  • Ensure understanding of Distribution policy and procedures, in order to understand tasks needed to be carried out, according to function’s policies and frameworks, as well as to ensure alignment and compliance with legal regulations and with Telenor Group’s overall direction, standards and governance.
  • To provide with key reports, dashboards and insights to team on regular basis to improve on distribution and digitalization ambitions.
  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring MCLs towards flawless execution of initiatives at Clusters/ Mini Clusters.
  • Implementing communication plans to ensure awareness of new product launches.
  • Perform data analysis therefore should be good in data crunching, excel sheets, PPTs and presentations.
  • Responsible for reviewing effectiveness and ROI for the channel partners, able to lead team of MCLs occasionally and convince them with the new ideas and aligning them with the strategy of regions.
  • Ensure to drive various projects by Inter functional and departmental coordination, perform start to end flawless execution of initiatives at Clusters/Mini Clusters.
  • Adherence to Channel servicing Norms, designing channel and trade programs to generate loyalty, ensure business objective achievement.
  • Manage the development of Distribution plan & Channel Support plan, standards, and policies, in order to ensure that operations are performed efficiently to support all sales and distribution of all channels.
  • Manage the enlargement of qualitative and quantitative research and benchmarking analysis across channels to produce analysis reports as required for key inputs in formulating holistic and effective multi-channel strategies for sales, up-selling and customer services, and evaluating channel performance and profitability.
  • Coordination with Distributors and his / her team for daily/weekly/monthly target achievement.
  • Perform complex activities in monitoring distributor sales force activities and performing periodic evaluation/assessment on distributor sales force performance as planned, in order to identify improvement opportunities and to ensure quality of deliverables.
  • Responsible for supporting sales teams with key distribution insights and action plan to be executed on ground.

Education

  • Master/bachelor’s degree in business, marketing

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales & Distribution

Key Skillsets (3 - 5 skillsets)

  • Data Analysis and digitization of process would be key, as such understanding of key automation developments.
  • Must be goal oriented, flexible, and creative.
  • Ability to work under continuous pressure and ability to prioritize tasks as per the rapidly changing business dynamics..
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Professional Working Proficiency in English
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite & BI would be required.
