Job Description 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the timely identification, attraction, interviewing, selection, hiring, and onboarding of employees. The primary focus is to meet organizational requirements by acquiring the right people for the right positions at the right time. This role involves designing and executing selection processes, developing recruitment strategies, and ensuring job  description, and job specification are accurately defined and aligned with employee engagement goals.

 

  1. Design and Execute Selection Processes: Develop and implement effective selection processes, including conducting interviews, screenings, skills tests, and other assessments, to identify the most suitable candidates for open positions.
  2. Manpower Planning and Recruitment Strategy: Collaborate with key stakeholders to design the manpower plan and recruitment strategy, aligning them with organizational goals. Continuously review and refine recruitment tactics to attract top talent.
  3. Job Analysis, Job Description, and Job Specification: Conduct comprehensive job analysis to accurately define job requirements, responsibilities, and qualifications. Develop clear and concise job descriptions and job specifications that align with organizational objectives.
  4. Candidate Screening: Review resumes, job applications, and conduct initial phone interviews or video conferencing to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the position.
  5. Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various search methods, such as job portals, LinkedIn, and recruitment agencies, to source and attract qualified candidates. Develop candidate pools to ensure a diverse and talented applicant pool.
  6. Adherence to HR Timelines and KPIs: Execute HR tasks within specified timelines, following established recruitment standard operating procedures (SOPs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  7. Job Offer and Negotiation: Facilitate the job offer process, including extending employment contracts and negotiating employment terms with selected candidates.
  8. Background Checks: Perform reference checks and other background verification processes as part of the pre-employment screening.
  9. Recruitment Dashboard and Reporting: Prepare recruitment dashboards and HR reports on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly) to provide insights into recruitment metrics, progress, and outcomes.
  10. Employee Probation Process and Employee Relations: Coordinate employee probation processes and maintain positive employee relationships throughout the recruitment and onboarding stages. Handle employee transfers and contractual matters as required.
  11. Innovative Recruitment Methods: Collaborate with internal departments to develop effective recruitment tactics, leveraging the internet, social media, industry networks, and university/college relations.
  12. Reporting Structure: Report directly to the Assistant Head and Corporate HR Head, providing regular updates and insights on recruitment activities and performance.

Job Requirements

  • Any Bachelor Degree or Business Management/Administration, Human Resource Management or related fields is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a specialize in Recruitment field or Recruiter for business.
  • Pleasant personality, excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in both Myanmar and English.
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office, Power Points, HRMS and related business and communication tools.
  • Experience hiring for roles of all levels and functions, technical and non-technical.
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
