Job Description

We will be recruiting for this position at the upcoming JobNATION job fair on 16th September 2023 at Novotel Yangon. If you apply for this job now and are shortlisted, then please come to the job fair and we will have an interview booth ready for you.

  • Responsible for the effective management of the central kitchen
  • Monitor all food production procedures
  • Provide leadership in the areas of food preparation and presentation, food logistics, menu and recipe development, quality control, sanitation, procurement, inventory control, production forecasting and food and supplies ordering.
  • Ensure the timely service of consistently high quality and safe foods
  • Oversee and ensure to fulfil all outlets’ order  & delivery of targets for each outlet.
  • Create & implement consistent communication across internal departments: central kitchen, supporting departments and, the outlets.
  • Work closely with outlet-manager and service staff to ensure proper food presentation and excellent quality of products. 
  • Manage inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service.
  • Review performance of central kitchen operation and identify areas of improvement and potential waste
  • Develop training & development, daily workflow, inventory management, planning & performance of kitchen employees.
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative functions of all central kitchen staff such as creating schedules

Job Requirements

  • Preferably with Proficient and experienced in bakery and pastry
  • With valid Food Hygiene Certificate will be an added advantage
  • Possess good management and strong leadership qualities
  • High level of business ethics and integrity
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment
  • Computer-literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
