A Bank is seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits Deputy Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll operations, compensation, and benefits processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and deductions.
  • Manage payroll updates including new hires, terminations, transfers, and pay rate changes.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll-related laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Conduct industry benchmarking for payroll and benefits to analyze internal pay structures and recommend adjustments to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to payroll systems, processes, and policies.
  • Lead and provide guidance on compensation and benefits planning to support business goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of payroll functions, including preparation, reconciliation, internal controls, and payroll taxes.
  • Strong expertise in compensation analysis, market benchmarking, and pay structure alignment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in payroll, compensation, or benefits management.
