The Head of Project Management is responsible for driving strategic growth, expanding market presence, and establishing key partnerships with existing and new partners to support the adoption and usage of MMQR, collection and other services. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the fintech and mobile payments ecosystem, with a focus on customer acquisition, agent and merchant network development, revenue generation, and regulatory compliance

• Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with KBZPay’s MMQR objectives in targeted sectors.
• Identify and secure strategic partnerships with other financial institutions, UN and INGO agencies, MMQR merchant segments, governmental associations and FMCG leading companies.
• Manage the business development pipeline by identifying, tracking, and nurturing prospective opportunities from lead generation to after sales services. Implement robust evaluation processes to monitor progress, analyze conversion rates, and ensure timely follow-ups. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources effectively and maintain a healthy pipeline that supports consistent growth targets
• Lead market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and competitive threats.
• Oversee MMQR merchant network expansion, including the conversion of chain-distribution-ecosystem to KBZPay.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive innovation and improve service offerings based on market feedback.
• Monitor KPIs for business growth, customer engagement, and revenue performance.
• Lead negotiations and contract management with internal stakeholders, partners and service providers.
• Ensure adherence to existing financial regulations and support compliance initiatives.
• Develop training programs and capacity building initiatives own unit and other internal stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA degree.
• Previous experience of at least 7 years in business development or corporate sales
• Other certificates including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Fintech Professional (CFP), Certified Business Development Professional (CBDP) – (preferred)
