Lead day-to-day IT operations across data centers, networks, cloud platforms, and end-user computing.
Ensure availability, stability, and optimal performance of all banking applications and technology platforms.
Establish and enforce IT operational standards, procedures, and SLAs in alignment with regulatory and business requirements.

Oversee ITIL-based service management processes including incident, problem, change, and release management.
Drive root-cause analysis and preventive measures to minimize service disruption.
Manage 24/7 technology support coverage for critical banking systems.

Ensure effective monitoring, capacity planning, patching, and performance optimization of systems and infrastructure.
Oversee disaster recovery planning, drills, and execution for technology systems.
Implement robust cybersecurity operational controls in collaboration with the CISO.

Lead and mentor the Technology Operations team, fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
Manage relationships and performance of external technology vendors and service providers.
Support talent development, succession planning, and skills enhancement within the team.

Ensure operational compliance with banking regulations, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and other relevant standards.
Monitor and report operational risks, incidents, and key metrics to the CTO and relevant governance committees.
Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in banking or financial services.
Proven track record in managing large-scale IT operations, core banking platforms, and mission-critical systems.
Strong knowledge of ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST, and other industry frameworks.
Experience in technology transformation, cloud adoption, and automation.
Industry certifications (one or more preferred):
- ITIL v4 Managing Professional or Strategic Leader
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
- ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Cisco CCNP/CCIE, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Architect
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certification
- Strategic thinker with strong operational execution skills.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving, crisis management, and decision-making skills
- Ability to operate in a regulated environment and manage audits.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences
