The HR Manager will lead all human resource functions related to fuel stations, fuel distribution, logistics, and operations teams. This role is responsible for workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, compliance, and employee relations across multiple sites. The ideal candidate has strong HR expertise, experience in a fast-paced operational environment, and the ability to manage workforce challenges in fuel/energy or similar industries. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

1. HR Operations & Workforce Management 

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations for fuel stations, terminals, drivers, and logistic teams. 

  • Ensure manpower availability through effective workforce planning and scheduling. 

  • Manage HR documentation, attendance, payroll coordination, and site-level HR support. 

2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition 

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for all fuel business roles (station staff, cashiers, supervisors, drivers, technicians, admin). 

  • Build talent pipelines for expansion projects. 

  • Coordinate interviews, onboarding, and training for new employees. 

3. Performance Management 

  • Implement KPI-based performance appraisal systems. 

  • Monitor employee productivity, attendance, and discipline issues at fuel stations. 

  • Provide guidance to site supervisors on managing staff performance. 

4. Employee Relations & Welfare 

  • Build positive employee relations through continuous communication and site visits. 

  • Handle grievances, conduct investigations, and manage conflict resolution. 

  • Oversee welfare programs, health & safety awareness, and employee engagement initiatives. 

5. Training & Development 

  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training for fuel station operations, customer service, safety, and compliance. 

  • Conduct HR, policy, and compliance-related training for site staff. 

6. HR Compliance & Safety 

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety protocols, and internal policies. 

  • Maintain proper records for audits, inspections, and compliance reports. 

  • Support HSE teams with safety initiatives and awareness campaigns. 

7. Policy Implementation & Process Improvement 

  • Implement HR policies tailored to fuel business operations. 

  • Improve HR processes to enhance efficiency, reduce turnover, and strengthen site discipline. 

  • Ensure smooth communication between headquarters and site management teams.

Job Requirements

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA is an advantage). 

  • At least 5–7 years of HR experience with minimum 2 years in Retail/Fuel/Energy/Distribution/Manufacturing industries. 

  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, labor law compliance, and multi-site workforce management. 

  • Experience handling frontline workforce (station attendants, drivers, logistics teams). 

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to travel frequently to fuel stations and operational sites. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems. 

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a large workforce effectively.
