Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist in hiring showroom sales executives, cashiers, goldsmiths, designers, and production staff.

  • Coordinate interviews and documentation.

  • Manage employee onboarding and induction programs.

  • Maintain recruitment tracker and employee database.

2. Payroll & Attendance Management

  • Monitor attendance, leave records, and shift schedules.

  • Assist in payroll processing including sales incentives and overtime.

  • Ensure proper documentation for PF, ESI, bonus, gratuity, etc.

  • Maintain updated employee files.

3. Employee Relations

  • Address employee queries and basic grievance handling.

  • Support disciplinary procedures and warning documentation.

  • Organize employee engagement activities and festive events.

  • Maintain positive work environment across showroom and factory.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and Shop & Establishment regulations.

  • Prepare documents for audits and inspections.

  • Assist in drafting HR policies and SOPs.

5. Training & Development

  • Coordinate sales and customer service training for showroom staff.

  • Assist in organizing skill enhancement training for artisans.

  • Maintain training records.

6. Performance Management

  • Support performance appraisal process.

  • Track sales KPIs and production targets.

  • Prepare HR reports for management review.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 3–5 years of HR experience (preferably in retail or manufacturing).

  • Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.

  • Good communication and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR/payroll software.
