Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Staffing

  • Manage hiring for showroom sales executives, goldsmiths, designers, production staff, and back-office employees.

  • Coordinate bulk hiring during festive seasons and peak sales periods.

  • Develop recruitment pipelines for skilled artisans and experienced sales professionals.

  • Conduct interviews and finalize compensation in line with company policy.

2. Payroll & Compensation

  • Oversee payroll processing (including incentives and sales commissions).

  • Manage attendance, leave records, and overtime calculations.

  • Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, etc.).

  • Maintain accurate employee records.

3. Employee Relations

  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions.

  • Maintain positive workplace culture across retail outlets and factory units.

  • Conduct regular staff meetings and engagement activities.

  • Monitor employee retention and reduce attrition.

4. Compliance & Legal

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and shop & establishment regulations.

  • Maintain documentation for audits and inspections.

  • Draft and implement HR policies and SOPs.

5. Training & Development

  • Organize sales training for showroom staff.

  • Conduct grooming and customer service training.

  • Arrange skill development programs for artisans and craftsmen.

  • Support leadership development for store managers.

6. Performance Management

  • Implement performance appraisal systems.

  • Track KPIs for sales staff and production teams.

  • Align employee goals with business targets.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5–8 years of HR experience (preferably in retail, manufacturing, or jewellery industry).

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.

  • Experience managing multi-location workforce preferred.

  • Experience in retail incentive structure management.

  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.

  • Ability to handle blue-collar and white-collar workforce.
