Human Resources (HR) Officer – UDOM SMITH MYANMAR CO., LTD

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, onboarding, and orientation.

  • Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and HR documentation in compliance with company policies.

  • Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, and other HR-related documents.

  • Support payroll preparation by maintaining accurate attendance and leave records.

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.

  • Coordinate employee training, performance evaluations, and career development programs.

  • Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement and internal communication.

  • Handle employee relations, resolve workplace issues, and maintain confidentiality.

  • Ensure compliance with Myanmar labor laws and company regulations.

  • Organize company events, meetings, and team-building activities.

  • Work closely with department managers to support manpower planning and organizational growth.

  • Prepare HR reports and provide recommendations to improve employee performance and retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of HR experience is preferred.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of Myanmar labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Good English communication skills are an advantage.

  • Able to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles (preferred).

  • Strong understanding of recruitment, employee relations, and HR processes.

  • Knowledge of Myanmar labor laws and basic compliance requirements.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact with all levels of staff.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

  • Able to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

  • Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn and grow.

  • Good command of English (written and spoken) is an advantage.

  • Experience in payroll preparation or HR systems is a plus.
