Job Purpose

  • To design, governance, and optimization of sales incentive schemes and payout calculations, enabling accurate, transparent, and timely reward mechanisms that drive sales performance in a telecom environment. The role is responsible for delivering data-driven insights across Sales and Marketing, supporting strategic decision-making and continuous performance improvement.
  • This position the implementation and enhancement of reporting systems and processes, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient delivery of business-critical outputs. It requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including Finance, IT, and Operations, to ensure alignment, data integrity, and successful execution of initiatives.
  • Fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement, while applying strong analytical, problem-solving to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementation, and governance of sales incentive schemes and payout models aligned with GTM strategies and business objectives
  • Develop, validate, and automate accurate and timely scheme payout reports, ensuring strict adherence to defined business rules and criteria
  • Partner with Finance and Sales teams to ensure transparency, accuracy, and audit readiness of incentive calculations and disbursements
  • Monitor and analyze Sales, Marketing, and Network KPIs to evaluate scheme effectiveness and recommend data-driven improvements
  • Drive automation of recurring reports and dashboards using BI tools, reducing manual effort and increasing data reliability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Operations, Marketing, Network, and Regional teams to ensure data alignment and consistency
  • Translate complex datasets into intuitive dashboards and executive-level insights to support decision-making
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and target-setting processes through robust performance analysis
  • The rollout, standardization, and optimization of reports and dashboards across departments
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and uphold data integrity across all reporting and analytical processes

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
  • Data Analytics 
  • Business Administration 
  • Statistics 
  • Engineering or related field

Experience

  • 5–10 years in analytics, preferably in telecom or similar high-volume industries.
  • Experience in sales and marketing analytics. 
  • Proven track record in automation and BI implementation.

Technical Skills & Core Competencies (3 - 5 skillsets)

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and complex data querying across large-scale databases
  • Extensive experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, PostgreSQL)
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights
  • Deep business acumen with a solid understanding of telecom KPIs and performance drivers
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
  • In-depth understanding of customer recharge behavior and usage patterns
  • Hands-on experience with telecom products, including voice, data, VAS, and broadband services
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Access), including macro development
  • Expertise in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development to support business decision-making
  • Strong knowledge of database management concepts and data architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems with attention to detail and structured thinking
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
