Job Purpose:

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR functions at the factory level, ensuring smooth workforce operations and employee well-being. This role plays a key part in recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, compliance, training, and fostering a positive workplace culture in alignment with company values and policies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department heads to assess and plan staffing requirements.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for factory positions.
  • Lead onboarding, orientation, and induction programs for new hires.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Provide advice to Group HR on HR policies and procedures to reflect the changing people’s needs of the business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with factory employees and line managers.
  • Maintain accurate HR records including attendance, leaves, employment contract, and employee personnel files.
  • Manage and maintain the HRIS system.
  • Supervise payroll inputs, overtime, and shift allowances in coordination with payroll teams.
  • Manage employee benefits such as uniforms, accommodation, transportation, and meals.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate internal and external training programs.
  • Promote compliance and safety-related training in collaboration with HSE teams.
  • Track training effectiveness and maintain development records.
  • Implement and monitor the performance appraisal process.
  • Work with supervisors to set KPIs and performance improvement plans.
  • Provide coaching and feedback support across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with Myanmar labor laws and company policies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and factory operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with one or more HRIS platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good knowledge of labor laws and compliance matters in Myanmar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative software tools.
