Job Description

The Distribution System & Payment Manager is responsible for overseeing the airline’s distribution channels, reservation system connectivity, payment platforms, and ticketing payment operations. The role ensures efficient sales distribution, secure payment processing, system reliability, and seamless customer booking experiences across all direct and indirect sales channels. The position also leads strategic initiatives related to digital distribution, payment solutions, and commercial system optimization to support revenue growth and operational efficiency.

 

To ensure smooth functioning of distribution systems, OTA connectivity, website sales, BSP, and payment gateways, while supporting sales channels.

Ensure smooth operation of e-commerce platforms and troubleshoot booking/payment issues.
Monitor OTA sales, connectivity and resolve distribution issues.
Support new OTA integrations and system upgrades.
Assist GDS booking for date change and reply mail.
Coordinate with Finance for payment system enhancements.
Prepare reports on distribution efficiency and system performance.

Analyze market trends, competitor distribution strategies, and emerging payment technologies to improve commercial performance.

Prepare management reports, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations related to distribution and payment systems.

Manage, coach, and develop team members to ensure high operational performance and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Aviation Management, Information Technology, Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in airline distribution systems, e-commerce, reservation systems, or payment operations, including managerial experience.
  • Strong knowledge of airline reservation and ticketing systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, Navitaire, or Galileo.
  • Solid understanding of GDS, NDC, BSP, ARC, OTA connectivity, and airline distribution models.
  • Experience managing payment gateways, reconciliation processes, fraud prevention, and digital payment solutions.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of API integrations and commercial system architecture.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Flexible for overtime & location changes.
