About the job

 

Job Purpose

Lead and ensure the effective delivery of Total Rewards, Payroll, HR Operations, and HRIS processes to support business objectives. Drive compliance, operational excellence, digitalization, and employee experience through the implementation of best-in-class people practices, policies, and reward programs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead annual compensation review processes, including salary benchmarking, merit increases, bonuses, and incentive programs
  • Manage salary budgeting, market benchmarking, and annual increment planning
  • Review, design, and continuously enhance compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and internal equity
  • Lead end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely processing
  • Ensure compliance with Myanmar labor laws, taxation requirements, and internal company policies
  • Maintain payroll controls to ensure audit readiness and data integrity
  • Ensure employee records and personnel files are accurately maintained and securely stored
  • Develop, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, payroll regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements
  • Coordinate statutory reporting and government submissions
  • Act as functional owner of HRIS and lead HR digitalization and automation initiatives
  • Ensure system accuracy, data integrity, user adoption, and governance standards
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders for system enhancements and implementations
  • Generate and analyze HR, payroll, workforce, and Total Rewards reports
  • Support local, regional, and global reporting and business decision-making

Key Competencies & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Myanmar labor laws and payroll regulations
  • Sound understanding of compensation and benefits principles
  • Strong analytical and HR data interpretation skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Excel, and HR analytics tools
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, or HR Operations

Language Requirements

  • Proficiency in Myanmar and English (written and spoken)
