Job Summary

A Procurement Specialist (or Purchasing Specialist) is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring the goods and services an organization needs to operate efficiently. This role acts as a bridge between internal departments and external suppliers, ensuring that purchases meet quality standards while staying within budget. 

• Create and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.

• Process purchase requisitions for various airport departments. Researching new vendors and evaluating them based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery speed.
• Maintain an updated database of procurement records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

• Conducting cost-benefit analyses, monitoring market trends, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Monitor budget utilization and provide monthly reports on procurement.
•  Manage the full procurement cycle: requisition, quotation, evaluation, purchase order, and delivery
• Lead and supervise procurement team members

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Supply Chain Management/ Engineering or related field
• 5–8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
• Proficiency in advance Excel and software knowledge is a plus
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
