Job Description

  • Lead and manage the Treasury Department ensuring the effective execution of all treasury operations.
  • Oversee the management of the bank's investment portfolio, including evaluating and recommending investment opportunities.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on treasury activities, financial performance, and market trends to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with Finance Department and other stakeholders to support the bank's overall financial strategy
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of IFRS across the bank.
  • Ensure that all financial statements and reports comply with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex accounting issues related to IFRS.
  • Keep abreast of changes in IFRS and other regulatory requirements, and update internal policies and procedures accordingly
  • Conduct training and workshops to educate staff on IFRS standards and practices.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless audits and compliance reviews.
  • Oversee the management of the bank's share capital. Monitor and manage financial risks.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications.
  • minimum of (3) years of reporting software and strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management practices.
  • Proficiency in using treasury management systems
  • ln-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting requirements analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
