As a security officer, your role will involve ensuring the safety and security of the client’s premises and visitors. A primary responsibility will be to maintain a secure environment by conducting patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, performing security control assessments, and responding promptly to security incidents.

Job Description

• Ensure the uniforms of security officers are fit and properly dressed.
• Perform Day/Night shift and stay alert during duties hours.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect security threats and suspicious activities.
• Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems to identify potential security breaches.
• Perform security control assessment, verify credentials, check visitors, and issue visitor passes when required.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Provide excellent customer services within the client area as needed.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Report any security breaches, safety hazards, and incidents to the Security Team leader/ Manager and record and document them in an incident report.
• Maintain a logbook to record movements, activities, and any irregularities or incidents discovered while on duty.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on security practices and protocols.
• Contributes to any other duties and responsibilities that have been assigned by the Security Team Leader/ Guard Commander.

• High School Diploma or equivalent level.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Security Office or a similar role. No experienced candidates are also welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of security operations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal.
• Physically fit, capable of standing or walking, and good at handling stressful situations.
• Willingness to work in Day and Night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills for incident reporting and communication purposes.
