Job Description

DUTIES OF THE TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER

  • Management of the Technical Department (around 10people) including Engineering, Operations & Supervision teams, in charge of:
    • Designing Head-end for DTT, DTH & OTT new services and modernization
    • Specify and document the architectures
    • Operate the Head-end
    • Monitor the technical chain from contribution until emission
    • Specify needs, lead trials and select vendors for new equipments
    • Define, specify and validate Set-Top Box features
    • Take part to the technical strategy definition and ensure its declension within the technical teams
    • Guarantor of the service quality
    • Lead the relationship with vendors and partners
    • Ensure technology watch

Required Profile

  • Management experience
  • 5-8 years of experience of Broadcast experience required.
  • Knowledge in Broadcast engineering/technology, equipment for video production, broadcast and satellite transmission and interactive media…
  • Good IT skills appreciated

  • Leadership to manage efficiently the team
  • Good interpersonal skills / team spirit
  • Time management skills
