• Manages for the entire employee life cycle within a territory. • Maintains and updates job descriptions and person specifications for all positions.• Establishes a recruitment process, advising managers on recruitment practices and candidate selection. • Grows the staff per the development plan through effective sourcing, interviewing and recruiting of employees.• Establishes and conducts onboarding and training programs in-line with training needs analyses.• Develops a compensation plan by conducting periodic salary surveys, scheduling and conducting job evaluations, preparing salary budgets, monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions, and recommending, planning, and implementing salary structure changes.• Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee performance by implementing a performance evaluation process, and by training managers to effectively line manage and coach employees.• Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends, recommending benefit programs to management and directing the processing of benefit claims.• Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable labor legislation.• Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.• Advises management on how to resolve employee relations issues.• Maintains HR records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.• Manages the exit process for all employees who leave the company. Conducts exit interviews to identify trends and suggest corrective action.• Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services such as payroll, health & safety, and others as appropriate.
● Bachelor's Degree in human resources related field or equivalent● Understanding of local labor law● Strong MS Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, Excel● 5-7 years of human resources experience in a retail environment or similar● Fluency in written and spoken Myanmar and English● Ability to produce high quality documentation and present data accurately and professionally ● Attentive to detail and able to manage data ● Self-starter with good time management skills● Project Management experience● Familiarity with digital communications / social networking for business purposes
