Job Description

Job Overview 

  • The role's main responsibility is to drive the Account Management team.
  • The role  acts as primary point of contact for the existing strategic clients and build long lasting relationship with them.
  • The role ensures that client needs are understood and satisfied. Besides directly handling several strategic accounts and will also lead and mentor the team members.   

Strategic client relationship: 

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with strategic accounts 
  • Develop network and deep understanding of the stakeholders within the client organization 
  • Assess customer risks and anticipate bottlenecks 
  • Improve the overall customer experience, including claims and complaints management  
  • Collect all client information within the CRM, including customers contacts details, opportunities, proposals, meeting reports, account risks, events 
  • Ensure services are delivered as per contract 
  • Coordinate with other company departments to share account and contract information in a timely manner  
  • Forecast and track account management metrics  
  • Prepare reports on account status 

Cross Selling / Upselling: 

  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients  

  • Collaborate with the company subject expert matter to introduce new products to customers 

  • Strive to find the products which best fit the individual needs of the client 

  • Ensure sure proposals are prepared on time, as per customer requirements, and as per the company terms and conditions and acceptable margin level 

  • Lead negotiation with customers about the offers including prices and contractual terms within the company acceptable boundaries  

  • Lead the coordination of the hand over process across the other department within the organization 

Team Management and leadership: 

  • Recruit, train, lead and mentor the Account Management executives, specialists, managers 

  • Decide on client allocation for each team member 

  • Be proactive and suggest improvement initiatives in terms of business processes and systems 

  • Ensure business continuity during vacancies / sick leaves of team members 

Marketing: 

  • Coordinate with Marketing department about online promotional strategy and activities such as email campaign, social media campaign 

  • Coordinate with Marketing team in case of offline events such as seminars, exhibitions

Job Requirements

Qualification and Requirements 

  • At least 5 years of experience in Account Management
  • Must be excellent in written and verbal English and Burmese 

  • Stellar customer-oriented mindset and eagerness to identify solutions for the clients
  • Experience in team leadership and management
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services
  • Preparing Power Point presentations or similar  

  • Building relationships, Negotiating and Problem-solving skills  

  • Ability to think strategically,Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work

  • Experience with CRM software would be an advantage 

Others: 

  • Open for local, repatriate and regional expatriate

  • Regular travels to visit customers
