Content acquisition and partnerships manager is responsible for tie-ups and agreements with various national and international content providers for multiple products and services which Ananda intend to offer its customers in immediate and long term future. • Develop a comprehensive content acquisition roadmap for future business products to fulfil user requirements.• Prepare and deliver presentations and drive content vision and strategy.• Understand dynamics of content industry, players in the market, expectations and industry best practices, including keeping abreast of the technology landscape and how it is impacting content industry.• Drive and provide support to various aspects of product roadmap with respect to content including pricing and positioning.• Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to key stakeholders.• Define metrics and KPI to measure the success of the content uptake and consumption.• Perform in-depth opportunity/competitive analysis with respect to content portfolio.• Act as primary point of contact to successfully acquire and launch new content on time and within budget.• Work with marketing and communications to establish and manage a GTM and launch plan for new content acquired.• Understanding of various content pricing models available in the market and negotiating for the best possible as per company business model.• Coordinate with legal, finance and commercial to close agreements and partner payouts within policies and defined time frame.• Facilitate quality consultation and communication within own team, within the department and with other departments.
• Bachelor Degree, MBA or Master’s Level Business Qualifications (highly desirable)• 3-5 years of relevant experience in content acquisition partnerships• Hands on experience in managing relation with satellite TV channel providers and content resellers• Effective verbal and written communication on all levels and both internally and externally• Proven track record in management of complex programs• Professionally proficient in English and Burmese (preferred)
