Job Summary: To assist Chief Steward in maintenance and take caring of all F&B operating equipment. To coordinate with Kitchen and Service for all necessary equipment and have available at the designated times.The job scope includes performing the related position tasks of handling all four buildings of Hotel, Office Tower, Residence andapartment which are directly managed by the Hotel Management.Duties & Responsibilities:1. Responsible for assigning daily employee work loads.2. Assist supervisor in his/ her administration regarding assignments of the team, duty roster, other clerical jobs.3. Picks up and deliver all items needed for any banquet function, buffet or other.4. Oversee overnight cleanliness of all Kitchens.5. Sets up and breakdown all buffet counters at assigned time.6. Responsible for the cleanliness of china, glassware, flatware and hollowware.7. Maintains and updates employee files and monitors attendance of employee.8. Logs operational incidents and concerns in the appropriate logbook.9. Reports all equipment malfunctions to the Engineering Department and Chief Steward.10. Ensures proper maintenance of all dishwashing machines and Kitchen equipment.11. Follows sanitary procedures that have been established by the management.12. Alerts in energy and chemicals saving.13. Establishes and maintains effective employee relations in his section.14. Trains employees for all tasks that need to be accomplished according to the standard operating manual.15. Reports directly to Chief Steward.16. Coordinates functions and activities with other F/B Departments.17. Maintains interdepartmental working relationships.18. Ensure all your subordinates report to work at the correct time and in the correct attire.19. Assist in the preparation of duty rosters and holiday charts. 20. Plan your week duties to allow adequate training of your subordinates and develop programs for your staff.21. Ensure the section/department functions according to the standards and procedures set in the absence of Chief Steward.22. Ensure your work to train and develop yourself and your subordinates.23. Continue to strive for better performance of yourself and your team.24. Assists with Month End Stock Inventory. 25. Encourages team work and spirit in all areas of the department26. To be aware of the objectives of the department.27. To be aware of the Department Mission Statement.28. To be aware of the outlet brand standards.29. Is familiar with all hotel policies and procedures and embraces such in the department30. Other tasks as assigned by the Chief Steward, Executive Chef and director of F&B.
