Job Description

  • Consult with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters
  • Execute long-range talent scenario planning considering the impact of various talent risks, their likelihood occurring, and mitigations
  • Engage in assessing top management succession needs, risks and plan mitigations
  • Develop leadership development programmes to create agile leaders who are comfortable with diversity, change, learn quickly, and have the capacity to adapt to, and master, discontinuities and disruptions
  • Execute needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company
  • Cultivate a compelling, agile, transformational culture and employer brand, including gaining a “best place to work” ranking in Myanmar
  • Deploy a data-driven approach for measuring HR performance and determining effectiveness of HR-related interventions through the use of multiple management dashboards
  • Oversee the deployment of innovative HR technology in support of business strategy including but not limited to talent management software, performance analytics, workforce analytics, virtual training, cloud computing, web-based hiring networks, social media performance management and peer coaching
  • Encourage diversity by sourcing talent from non-traditional sources – from different geographies, industries, experiences
  • Upgrade and maintain best-in-class recruitment & payroll functions using the latest digital recruitment platforms and payment solution.

Job Requirements

  • Must have minimum 10 years of experience in human resources as a people leader working directly with other department head.
  • Preferably in Master’s degree in human resources, strategic management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Prefer experience managing over 1000+ employes, with branch network nationwide
  • Able to comfortably engage with executive stakeholders, including board members and peers at other companies
  • Strategic understanding of matters such as employee happiness, performance, hiring, culture transformation, and organizational development, and employer branding
  • Experience building processes for a workforce of over 1500 employees
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Burmese.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate and discuss sensitive or challenging topics
  • Proven ability to work effectively with a wide-range of stakeholders to identify resolve people-related issues
  • English proficiency - advanced
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • The ability to engage with personnel at all levels of employment.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
