Job Description

The responsibility of the Lead of Channels is to define, develop and execute the Project of successfully replacing KBZ Bank’s Mobile and Internet Banking Channels ( Oracle Flexcube Direct Banking), including all their integration touchpoints into relevant internal and external systems, to Temenos Infinity - Digital Front Office. The back end core banking software for the Bank is Flexcube from Oracle.
Role and Responsibilities:  This is a critical techno – functional role, with sound technical and functional skills in optimizing our product experience in both mobile and web. This position is a combination of creative visual design, robust information architecture, simplified customer journeys and functional capability, with world class security and data integrity standards  Responsible for collaborating with Marketing, Product Managers, Branch and Operations Teams, and Engineers to create a clean and elegant UI while maintaining an intuitive and concise UX  Responsible for mapping out customer journeys for new offerings or changes to existing services, and looking at how communications are delivered in the best possible way to the customer

  • Responsible for project delivery, coordinating and monitoring progress against a detailed Project Plan to effectively deliver “best in class” mobile and internet banking channels in the world within the mandated project timelines
  • Define and develop the Technical Solution Architecture and Interfaces Design, Platform and Channel creation and configuration
  • Supervise the detailed Requirement Gathering exercise, Business Analysis, Product understanding with the Bank stakeholders and software vendors
  • Walk-through of new system functionalities and Gap Analysis for the Project with the Bank stakeholders and software vendors
  • Ensure satisfactory functional and non-functional testing including among others, System Integration Testing, Security Acceptance Testing, User Verification Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Performance Testing
  • Manage and direct all necessary End-User training, Data Migration, Cut-over and go-live activities to transition the Project into Production
  • Post-implementation support to ensure and establish the stable running of the new Internet Banking and mobile platforms, channels and integrations.
  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing Project Documentation reflecting an accurate picture of the project history and trajectory

Job Requirements

  •  Post-graduate qualification in Computer Science / Electronics /Software Engineering / Information Technology from a reputed industry
  • Expertise (ideally 8+ years) in Software Development Life Cycle for large software projects
  • Excellent understanding of Internet/Mobile Banking Channels/ Cloud in Digital Banking
  • Expertise in Java , HTML5, Angular, ES 6 and UI, CSS, Angular, ES 6 etc
  • Good understanding of Core Banking (Oracle Flexcube), AWS Cloud and/or OCI Cloud and API Banking
  • Experience in Temenos Infinity (Kony) implementation will be a key differentiator and very useful
  •  Experience of Kony framework – Kony Visualizer and Kony Mobile Fabric would be a huge advantage
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business & technology teams, service providers
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills with ability to manage change proactively
  • Enjoy being a hands on technical person and should have excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to learn new technologies quickly
  •  Experience in shipping enterprise products, cloud services or web/mobile UI applications to a large customer base and involvement in all stages of software development lifecycle
