• Manage accounting function in order to record, control, report financial status of operating activities to conform to Jotun Group policy and local regulations. • Partner with other departments/functions to have proper forecasting, budgeting as business requirement and initiate cost rationalization. • Maintain appropriate internal control system in accordance with Jotun Group Control Checklist (JGCC). • Supervise, develop and train staff on necessary accounting and computer skills, motivate them to always strive for greater efficiency and effectiveness with good teamwork and good interpersonal communication skills. • Manage legal function to ensure (a) all activities are in compliance with local laws and (b) company interests are protected legally. • Manage IT function by monitoring IT infrastructure and IT system to ensure (i.) smooth business operation, (ii.) timely and efficiently provide management information for sound decision making, and (iii) drive commercial IT agenda in order to add value to business. • Manage the Company’s relationships with banks, auditors and local authority agencies • According to the requirement of HSEQ management system, the holder of this position is defined as element owner of element# 11 – Change management. Local HSEQ responsible will support you with respect to local procedure and following-up actions.
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting with 7 to 9 years of experience • Experience and knowledge on ERP and Microsoft Office are necessary • Experience in IFS and HFM are preferable • Fluent oral and written in English and Burmese are essential
