Job Description

  • To manage all branch functions including taking full responsibility for the branch's performance - both sales and operations and achieving numbers towards enhancement of bank’s profit.
  • Responsible to set targets, formulate sales and service strategy and ensure that they are met, by motivating and developing staff, keeping the bank at high standard and dealing with customer complaints.
  • Lead the branch to success by enthusing customer centric service culture, cultivating long-term business and consumer relationships to ensure branch sales growth and customer retention, and effectively resolves issues with customers and associates.
  • Ensure the Branch operations are compliant with the relevant rules, regulations and policies and ensure that there are no audit observations for the Branch.
  • Build relationship in the market, enhance MCB image to be a bank of choice for Myanmar.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • B.com or Any degree with related diploma/Certificate preferably in management/commerce education streams
  • Master’s Degree in Business is preferable
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant work-experience in banking
  • Good understanding of Balance Sheet management, financial ratios and rules, regulation and policies & commercial banking industry.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in managing operational requirements and procedures in a Retail Bank.
  • Desire and willingness to call on prospects and existing clients for sales opportunities. Proven sales execution.
  • Proven record of developing and coaching high performance sales and service teams.
  • Adequate knowledge about financial markets products and services.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong credit knowledge and marketing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organization skill.
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft-Office.
  • Be proactive and initiative
  • Good at maintaining contacts and networking.
  • Able to do Multi-tasking
  • Self- confident & determined
  • Drive for result
