II. Position PurposeThis is a new role that will join the DMM Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO. The key purpose is to drive and lead the digital transformation of DMM, including digitization of the back office and finance team, development of analytics capability and enablement of the digital and distribution businesses. The key elements of the role include:• Facilitating the significant business change and operational model redesign necessary for the business to pivot to a digital business model. • Managing and coordinating the resources required to implement the project, including the internal project team, and other stakeholders. • Coordinating with other business and technology initiatives to ensure all dependencies are understood and managed. • Responsibility across the project lifecycle including initiating, managing and closing the project and all processes such as project quality/ control, communication, stakeholder management, people leadership and knowledge harvestingIII. Key Result AreasAccountable for the digital transformation of operations and the business, supporting the growth aspirations of DMM, including investment in people, processes and technology to support growth. Key elements of the role include:• Business Case: Develop business cases for new platforms for DMM, and ensure that business stakeholders are aligned with investment, commitments and benefits. • Business Architecture: Responsible for development of the Target Operating Model for DMM across multiple streams, ensuring that business stakeholders are clearly aligned with the vision for the future. • Portfolio Governance: Responsible for management of the project office function for Asia, ensuring that all projects are delivered successfully and aligned with strategy.IV. Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesProgram mobilisation and planning (strategic & tactical) • Clarify strategic business timeline and priorities • Prepare business cases and program definition, plans and budgets• Determine program resource needs and responsibilities• Assemble project teams as required. VI. Experience, Functional Skills and Knowledge Areas• REQUIRED:A proven program management capability• Successful delivery to plan of large complex technology-enabled transformation programs with significant concurrent business transformation and multiple project streams• At least 5 years of project and program management experience either in a corporate environment or a leading consulting firm delivering transformational change. • Extensive knowledge and experience in project management methodologies• Ability to pre-empt and resolve problems and to mitigate risks and issues associated with a program of workExtensive experience working with senior stakeholders• Strong ability to develop relationships with senior stakeholders• Personal credibility and influencing skills, with the ability to take the lead where appropriate• Ability to reconcile the needs of different business priorities• A successful track record in embedding sustainable change• Committed to personal and team growth and developmentStrategic business focus• Understanding the organisation and the context in which it operates• Appreciation of business priorities and their implications for the program• Commercially focused on delivering tangible business value aligned to technical solutions• Insight into complex situations and the ability to identify opportunities for growth• Commitment to service quality and delivery – outcome focused and continuous improvement orientedCommercial acumen• Experience in broader business roles with full P&L responsibilities• Significant experience in developing, managing, implementing and monitoring 3rd party agreements; • Ability to develop appropriate professional relationship with vendors and to build vendor partnerships that will support the successful delivery of the program objectives; and• Strong working understanding of financial management and project accounting principles, as they apply to large programs of work within a corporate environment.PREFERRED:• Significant financial services sector commercial experience and understanding of banking products and business• Experience with large scale system implementations but not specifically a technology specialist• Broad systems & infrastructure exposure • Certified as a Master Project Director through a recognized professional body
