Job Purpose

Responsible for daily accounting operations, financial reporting, AP/AR, inventory, costing, tax, reconciliation, and audit support while ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, journal entries, General Ledger, Sub-ledgers, cash, bank, expenses, and month/year-end closing.
• Handle AP & AR, including invoice verification, supplier/customer reconciliation, payment schedules, aging reports, and outstanding follow-up.
• Manage cash, bank, petty cash, and bank reconciliation and ensure proper supporting documents.
• Maintain inventory and stock accounting, conduct stock reconciliation/counts, investigate variances, and monitor slow-moving/dead stock.
• Perform manufacturing, product, project, and job costing and analyze actual vs. standard/planned costs and variances.
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation records and support physical verification.
• Handle accounting data for Commercial Tax, Income Tax, SSB, payroll, staff loans/advances, and other statutory matters; assist with tax filing and audits.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow-related reports, expense reports, Budget vs. Actual, and management reports; support internal/external audits and coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, Engineering, and HR/Admin.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/Graduate in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant Accounting/Finance experience; Manufacturing, Trading, or Engineering experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of full-set accounting, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing costing.
• Knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, tax filing, and audit processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Office; Pivot Table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF, etc. preferred.
• Experience with Accounting Software/ERP systems.
• Strong reconciliation, financial analysis, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Good communication, coordination, time management, and ability to work independently.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• LCCI Level III, ACCA Part Qualified, or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing costing, budgeting, financial analysis, tax filing, and audit.
