Job Description

To ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, company quality standards, and applicable regulations by implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the project.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the project's QA/QC procedures and quality management system.
  • Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and inspection requirements before construction.
  • Conduct inspections of construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
  • Monitor workmanship and material quality throughout all construction stages.
  • Coordinate inspections with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), and related QA/QC documentation.
  • Record and monitor non-conformance reports (NCR), corrective actions, and preventive actions.
  • Ensure all testing activities are carried out according to project specifications and approved procedures.
  • Verify that materials delivered to site meet approved specifications and project requirements.
  • Monitor laboratory and field testing activities and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports.
  • Participate in site meetings and coordinate with the Engineering, Architecture, MEP, and QS teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain proper filing and control of QA/QC documents.
  • Support project completion inspections, snagging, and handover activities.
  • Coach and guide junior engineers when required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • AGTI (Civil), B.Tech (Civil), or Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).

Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in QA/QC for residential, commercial, or high-rise building construction.
  • Experience with quality inspections, testing, documentation, and project handover is preferred.

Skills

  • Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures, construction standards, and engineering specifications.
  • Familiar with inspection processes, material testing, and quality documentation.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Positive attitude with good teamwork skills.
