Primary Purpose of Role

The MEP Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works across Hillman Land's real estate development projects, including residential housing developments, serviced villas, and commercial facilities. The role ensures that MEP systems are designed, installed, tested, commissioned, and handed over in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, budgets, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

Project Coordination

• Plan and supervise daily MEP construction activities.
• Coordinate MEP works with Civil, Architectural, and Structural teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to schedule.
• Identify and resolve site-related technical issues.

Site Supervision

• Supervise MEP contractors and subcontractors during installation.
• Ensure all work complies with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship and safety.
• Verify completed work before submission for inspection.

Design & Technical Review

• Review MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with consultants and designers to resolve technical issues.
• Support value engineering and cost-effective solutions where appropriate.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure MEP works meet company quality standards.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures and site regulations.
• Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.

Contractor Management

• Monitor contractor performance and work progress.
• Attend coordination meetings with consultants and contractors.
• Review work progress for payment certification when required.

Reporting

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Report project issues, delays, and resource requirements to management.
• Maintain proper MEP documentation and project records.

Qualifications

• B.E (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)

Experiences

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in MEP construction.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or real estate development projects is preferred.

Skills:

• Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Able to work effectively with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
