Job Purpose

 

This role is for a PS Core Network Engineer focused on the operation, maintenance, and evolution of a mobile data (Packet-Switched) core network. The position involves a mix of daily operations, network design validation, new service testing, and strategic planning to ensure network capacity, stability, and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain PS Core related nodes such as (SGSN, GGSN, MME, SGW, PGW, PCRF, CG, DNS).
  • HLD/LLD Design verification for PS Core nodes.
  • PAT/UAT and new service testing for PS Core nodes.
  • New PCRF pack creation as per business team requirement.
  • Hardware/Software Capacity monitoring for PS core nodes.
  • Support Capacity expansion, new nodes deployment for PS core.
  • Support IP planning for PS core nodes.
  • Support technical requirement for PS core related roaming services.
  • Report Daily and Weekly PS Core nodes KPIs.

Education

  • Bachelor or Master degree in related IT and Engineering fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 1~2 years in Telecommunication field.
  • Understand overview of Core network structure.
  • Vendor management.
