Job Description

The role holder is responsible for exploring the assigned territory in search of partner pharmacies. He/she must find partner pharmacies (mostly in urban areas) and onboard them to act as fulfillment centers in the urban areas. They must facilitate these pharmacies with B2B supply. In addition, the role holder will be responsible to develop and lead a network of pharmacies with a go-to market plan within Myanmar. The incumbent must develop a nation-wide plan and select partners based on aligned criteria. They are to manage relationships with partner pharmacies and facilitate communication to all on-boarded network of pharmacies.

  • Develop and lead the partners pharmacy network along with the go to market plan for Myanmar
  • Design the requirements of a My-Medicine Partner Pharmacy
  • Develop a nation-wide plan with a My-Medicine Partner to be within 10km of reach for household in top cities
  • Select partners based on aligned criteria to meet business objectives
  • On-board partner pharmacies to act as fulfillment centers across Myanmar
  • Develop Partner Pharmacy Plans and KPIs
  • Lead business development, onboarding, operations and reviews for partner pharmacies
  • On-board rural pharmacies and provide them with B2B support and supply (medium term objective)
  • Maintain excellent relationships with partner pharmacies that are on-boarded with My Medicine.
  • Facilitate communication of all channel activities with all partner pharmacies and connect with partner pharmacy internal operation team
  • Audit and train partner pharmacies post on-boarding and ability to terminate bad relationship partner pharmacies
  • Define and manage advertising and promotional concepts/activities including the local customization of marketing and promotional materials for partners

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Trade Marketing or Retail Ops with adequate knowledge of the retail industry
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • BS Degree in Marketing or other business-related studies. Candidates with Business Administration degree preferred
  • Highly motivated individual with strong leadership qualities, excellent people managing skills
  • Individual must be willing to travel many places to meet partner pharmacies to develop relationship with them
  • Strong eye for detail and process management
  • Exceptional communication skills including oral and written
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and contacts
