This role holder is responsible for evaluating, authorizing, or recommend approval of unsecured credit loans. Advise borrowers/branches on financial status and methods of payments.

• Conduct comprehensive credit assessments for credit card applications and recommend approval, decline, or conditions in line with underwriting authority.
• Review and validate customer financial information, income documents, and credit histories.
• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, CBM regulations, and internal credit policies.
• Handle complex, high-risk, or exception cases and provide guidance to junior underwriting staff.
• Coordinate with branches, risk, operations, and card teams to resolve underwriting issues.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Support portfolio quality monitoring and continuous process improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree or related field
• Quality of credit decisions and portfolio performance.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Email usage and altitudes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office ,Skillfully usages in Advance Excel, Banking and Card systems.
• Compliance with underwriting policies and audit standards.
• Turnaround time and processing accuracy.
• Support and mentoring effectiveness for junior staff.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in credit underwriting, preferably in credit cards or retail lending
