Position Overview

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and self-driven Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will lead or support interior projects from initial concept through final installation. You will translate Business Unit Owners’ goals and functional requirements into thoughtful, safe, and aesthetically compelling spaces while maintaining project timelines, budgets, and compliance standards.

Concept Development & Spatial Planning

• Conduct initial consultations with BU owners to define project scope, spatial requirements and stylistic preferences.
• Create preliminary design concepts, space layouts, floor plans, and 3D visual renderings.
• Produce Construction Tender Drawing including material schedule and reference to communicate both internal stakeholders and external vendors. 

Technical Documentation & Sourcing

• Prepare detailed construction documentation using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.), including floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and millwork details.
• Select, specify, and source Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E), including lighting, flooring, fabrics, paint colors, and custom millwork. 

Project Management & Execution

• Work alongside contractors, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure design plans are accurately executed on-site.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify measurements, address site challenges, and ensure quality control.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or associate degree in interior design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: [2–5+] years of professional interior design experience (preferably in Commercial design especially schools).
• Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating space planning, technical drawings, 3D renderings, and completed projects (required).

• Technical Skills:

  High proficiency in 2D Drafting & 3D Modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit etc).
• Proficiency in 3D Rendering engines (e.g., Enscape, V-Ray, or D5) and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign) or any updated software are acceptable.
• Knowledge of building codes, ADA accessibility guidelines, and structural/mechanical constraints

  Soft Skills:

• Strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills for presenting to Business Unit Owners and coordinating with contractors.
• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities when handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong professional English proficiency across all 4 skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), equivalent to IELTS 6 or WSE level 9.
