Job purpose

This position will be directly reporting to Head of Group & Business Development. Responsible for leading and driving Group Life Insurance sales growth through direct business development and effective management of Sales Managers. This role focuses on expanding corporate client acquisition, and partner relationships, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring high-performing sales teams across assigned territories.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage Sales Managers to achieve sales targets
  • Set clear KPIs, sales strategies, and performance expectations for the team
  • Conduct regular sales reviews, pipeline discussions, and performance coaching sessions
  • Motivate the team to deliver consistent business growth and productivity
  • Develop talent within the sales organization
  • Personally drive strategic sales opportunities and key account acquisitions.
  • Identify new corporate prospects for Group Life Insurance and Group Health Insurance
  • Develop and execute sales plans for outstation
  • Expand market share through direct channels
  • Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including HR leaders, CFOs, and business owners.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of sales experience (preferably in financial services).
  • Minimum 5 years in people management role.
  • Proven track record in Corporate Sales (Life Insurance Industry preferred).
  • Fluent in both written and verbal communication in English and Myanmar, with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders, corporate clients, and business partners.
  • Experience managing multi-location or outstation sales teams.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong corporate networking and relationship-building ability.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to lead under pressure and meet aggressive targets.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work on weekends (day off can be taken on weekdays)
  • Willingness to travel as required across assigned territories.
